on the fast track to success. woodlawn offers a magnet program with a focused theme of accelerated academics through 22 advanced placement and 12 dual enrollment courses. students are provided with a curriculum that prepares them for their individual college and career-related paths. the classroom environment encourages and supports opportunities for all students to achieve academic success, while also ensuring students obtain necessary life-skills through partaking in opportunities to grow intellectually, philanthropically, and socially. woodlawn high offers traditional and honors classes, gifted and talented, magnet, exceptional student services, and english as a second language programs. it is also one of 100 schools in the united states to offer pre-ap courses provided through the national
