junior and senior high robotics team won multiple honors at the 2017-2018 first tech challenge baton rouge qualifier. the

club won the control award, which rewards the ability to increase a robot?s functionality by using sensors and design modifications, was named a finalist for the think award and the create award, and qualified to advance to the regional competition in new orleans. representing

are jennifer leeper and wendy herumin. ascension educator wins administr ator of the year award ascension public schools instructional supervisor melissa langlois was named 2018 administrator of the year by illuminate education. langlois, who has a leadership role in the district?s instructional data analysis work, was one of three finalists and the top winner out of 1,600 school districts across the country. langlois has worked for ascension since 2004. for the past six years, her work as an instructional leader for the district has supported schools and leveraged her expertise in data analysis. ebrpss all-parish honor jazz bands concert
