completed a week-long stem field trip to louisiana starbase. this premier department of defense stem program engages
students
through an inquiry-based curriculum with ?hands-on, mind-on? experiential activities. during the week, the
students
studied newton?s laws and bernoulli?s principle; explored nanotechnology, navigation, and mapping. they also used computers to design space stations, all-terrain vehicles, and submersibles. these fifth graders utilized every aspect of their stem education and training. runnels art

convention included 6,700

proudly came home with a state champion in mixed media art and a state runner-up in ninth grade math. the pbs

was presented with the g.o.l.d. key award for increasing their presence at the convention, and the
