are likely to be a bit different. for once, we are likely to look past our own noses in making our
resolutions
. o?en by february, our goals of losing weight and focusing on work are gone. they?ve been pushed to the back of our minds by packing lunches, driving carpool, and board meetings. maybe the reason we o?en find ourselves trying to remember what we resolved to do is that we aren?t focusing on the important things. the reason we go back to eating our favorite fatty foods and see the inside of the gym less and less is because in the big picture, does it really matter if you carry a few extra pounds on your thighs? what does matter is helping others. we are a nation of charitable spirits. when called upon in crisis, we give from our hearts in astounding numbers. what i have challenged myself and now challenge you to remember is that every day is a crisis for someone. though we may not see it, there are people facing tragedies in their lives.
make
a resolution that you will be sure to remember. resolve to

someone else?s life better. you can get a head start before the next natural disaster, and help someone with everyday challenges. this is a task that may sound as insurmountable as your rigorous workout schedule, but you would be surprised how the simplest things can

an impact. include your children and adopt a family for the
