environment where children are ed- ucated from a biblical worldview and are encouraged to develop their christian leadership skills through a variety of extracurricu- lar and service activities. bcs is a nurturing learning environment where students
from prek through grade 5 have the freedom to express their christian faith as they develop their unique talents. bethany cub club serves families with six week to three year old children by helping them love god, enjoy learning, and care for others. we teach whole child development through bible lessons, sensory-motor skills, music, pre-reading and writing, foreign lan- guage, number recognition and concepts, language development, and letter recognition and formation. founded in 1894 by the brothers of the sacred heart, catholic high school (chs) is an all-male college preparatory school dedi- cated to providing opportunities for development of the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social and physical growth of each student. in 2014, chs was recognized for the fifth time as a national blue ribbon school by the department of education. within the rigor- ous academic program that includes a 1:1 laptop program, students have opportunities to take honors and ap courses along with a wide range of electives. chs also offers 12 different sports and more than 30 extracurricular activities. ?e brighton school seeks to provide the most effective, evidence-based learning environment in our state for students with dyslexia and related learning differences. ?e brighton school promotes the intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of students with dyslexia and related learning differences to help them achieve their potential through the implementation of research-based instruc- tional techniques. our mission is to fully equip our students in grades 1-12 to become successful adults. come see what we are all about. ?e blessed margaret of castello reach (religious education for all children) program is the special education and dys- lexia lab services for the catholic school system. ?e program accepts children kindergarten through grade 12 with the diag- nosis of developmental delay, autism, specific learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities (mild and moderate), other health impairment, and dyslexia. ?e classroom sizes range from 6-12 students and our lab sessions have three to four stu- dents at a time. when enrolled, the program creates an individual plan for each student?s academic growth and progress. ?e blessed margaret of castello reach program is sacs accredited and has a goal of evangelizing hearts, educating minds, and encouraging talent which will ultimately help our students embrace the future before them. january 2017 | brparents.com 79
