revisiting resolutions as the clocked ticked midnight on new
year
?s eve, i took stock once again of the expectations i have for myself this
year
. i?ve still got my lists from
year
s gone by that are all in a journal where they?re recorded each
year
and examined the next. i?m impressed by a few, but laugh at most. i mostly love how they get reworded from
year
to
year
. here are a few worth revisiting: ?go to the gym and run two miles every day. make
school
lunches from scratch. get kids into bed after a full bath with the lights out by 8 p.m. don?t facebook unless it?s a lunch break. stop eating all late night snacks.? the following
year
: ?cancel the gym. walk around the block every other day. put a fruit with the lunchables in the kids? lunch boxes. make sure kids are in pajamas and at least par- tially clean by 9 p.m. don?t facebook in the
school
?s carpool line. stop late-night eating of lunchables snacks intended for lunch boxes.? yes, i do start out strong and tweak as needed. i have had great successes, however, so i?ll continue these even if they change a little with the times. i know that here at baton rouge parents , we?ll focus once again on making it easier for parents to find the right
school
