let?s play ball! that?s what nine-year- old
sierra
wells has decided she wants to try. daughter of mike and crystal wells,
sierra
recently played her first season of t-ball on a team for children with special needs in walker, louisiana. and she had so much fun that she plans to play again in the fall! although she is growing up with four teenage brothers,
sierra
does not let them outshine her. she loves music, especially dubstep, and can always be found with a purse on her arm or toting a backpack. if her dad and brothers are working out, she is the first to join in! some of her favorite hobbies include making her own dance moves, being outside, and playing with other children.
sierra
has autism and is nonverbal, but if there is a microphone in the area, she is eager to grab it. ?she doesn?t say much, but she mimics syllables,? says crystal. ?when she has a microphone, she just blossoms and really comes out of her shell.?
sierra
?s big, brown eyes and sweet smile light up any room. and she has grown tremendously in the past year! her mother says her itty bitty daughter is getting bigger and bigger right before her eyes, and it is exciting to watch. with her third grade year beginning at juban parc elementary,
sierra
is a vibrant young girl who is full of life and definitely one
