palmer
crain is seeing clearly these days. he has upgraded his vision with some new
glasses that will sharpen his eye for painting and his gaze on the golf course. the fourth grader at parkview elementary does not limit himself to these two hobbies, though. he is determined to become a master of many! this summer, palmer mastered these favorites, art and golf, and learned new skills. he participated in the st. luke tapestry program and excelled in very different disciplines: cooking, digital me- dia, martial arts, and video game design. palmer says he enjoys helping his mom cook meals for the family
but that he isn?t ready to do it alone quite yet. his love for video games, especially minecraft, has carried over into a desire to create and design new ones in the future. palmer?s affection for math and art connects him to creative and scientific hobbies like robotics. he channels his inventive and analytical energy into all sorts of problem solving. though he spends some time in the visionary world, palmer delights in his family time. his favorite family activities are bike riding and playing with their dog, a rescue pup named charley. palmer may be the only child at home, but he has an older brother that he shares many interests with named jordan. the 16 year age difference does not interfere with their close relationship though. one way the brothers have bonded is through the star wars movies. jordan introduced the series to palmer in preparation for the force awakens , which, palmer declares, is his favorite movie. palmer crain is a gifted and talented kid that is going to go far, especially with his new keen vision! do you have one amazing kid? email editorial@brparents.com one amazing kid august 2016 | brparents.com 35
