attend cle students from st. joseph?s academy and catholic high school recently participated in this year?s catholic leadership encounter (cle). the intensive nine-day workshop was held at the ymca of the rockies in colorado. cle focuses on encouraging and enabling students to embrace their god-given gifts while recognizing and meeting the needs of their community. the trip featured workshops on servant leadership, discovering personal strengths, social justice, and moral decision-making. connect / e d u c at i o n teacher wins liz peters master teacher award lee high school is moving into its new building this summer and will be opening in august. the $54.7 million campus is unlike anything else in baton rouge. its layout resembles a community college more than a traditional high school, and the expansive location can accommodate up to 1,200 students. the magnet school will be greatly increasing its current enrollment for its inaugural year at its new campus. lee high school will boast three different academies: bioscience, digital and media arts, and engineering and robotics. this new school will be a great choice for motivated students here in baton rouge. angela rodemacher eagleton recently accepted the liz peters master teacher award, an award that recognizes and promotes outstanding teaching at the dunham school. eagleton is an upper school english teacher and department chair and has taught at the school for 17 years. congratulations, angela! 36 brparents.com | july 2016
